Campaigns

Send broadcast emails to your subscribers and leads — newsletters, announcements, and promotions.

Campaigns are one-off emails sent to your audience. Use them for newsletters, product announcements, exclusive offers, or any broadcast communication.

Creating a campaign

  1. Go to Dashboard → Email → Campaigns
  2. Click New campaign
  3. Fill in:
    • Subject — the email subject line
    • Preview text — the short text shown in inbox previews
    • From name and From email — must use your verified sending domain
    • Audience — choose who receives this campaign (see below)
    • Body — write your email content (rich text editor)
  4. Click Save draft or Send / Schedule

Audience targeting

Choose who receives your campaign:

SegmentReaders matching a reader segment (new, casual, regular, power user)

Scheduling

You can send immediately or schedule for a future date and time. Scheduled campaigns can be cancelled before the send time.

Campaign stats

After sending, each campaign shows:

  • Delivered — emails successfully delivered
  • Opens — unique opens (tracked via a 1×1 pixel)
  • Clicks — unique link clicks
  • Bounces — undeliverable addresses
  • Unsubscribes — readers who opted out

Unsubscribes

OnePaywall automatically adds an unsubscribe link to every campaign. Readers who click it are removed from your email list and will not receive future campaigns or automations.
