Leads
Manage readers who gave their email in exchange for free access via a lead-capture gate step.
Leads are readers who submitted their email address through a lead-capture gate step. They haven't paid, but they've expressed interest — making them warm prospects for subscription conversion.
Leads list
Go to Dashboard → Subscribers → Leads to see all captured leads. The list shows:
- Email — the lead's email address
- Source — which gate and step captured them
- Captured — when the lead was collected
- Tags — any tags you've added
- Notes — your internal notes
Filtering leads
Filter by:
- Source — which domain or gate they came from
- Date range — when they were captured
- Tags — custom labels you've applied
Tags and notes
Click a lead to open their record. You can:
- Add or remove tags (e.g. "high-intent", "tech", "newsletter")
- Write internal notes about the lead
- See the reader's history — which pages they visited and which gate they triggered
Exporting leads
Click Export CSV to download your full leads list or a filtered subset. The CSV includes email, source, capture date, tags, and notes.
Converting leads to subscribers
Leads are not automatically enrolled in your email list. To convert leads into email subscribers or track them in a CRM, export the CSV and import it into your email platform. Or set up an automation under Dashboard → Email → Automations to send a welcome campaign to new leads.
